Reminiscence of Stillness

Days, weeks and months have drowned
In a flood of never ending rain
In waves of countless pieces of paper

I failed to recall the dates and people
In the midst of facts and duties

Forgotten friends are calling me
And seeking my existence
I beg you not to worry
And carry on with your routines

Yet, the light is shining before me
Eternal and so captivating

Full of smell of forests and lakes
Warmness of burning old tasks
A place in the middle of nowhere
Without troubles and rainstorms
